The measuring slide’s carrier forms the basis of the measuring arm. It runs on wheels which makes it easy to move to differentpositions along the measuring bridge.The measuring arm constitutes theactual measuring unit. It comprises threearms:• The central arm is movable in thehorizontal plane. It is mounted on avertical axel on the measuring slide’scarrier. The center arm can rotate amaximum of two turns.• The middle arm is mounted on a verticalaxel on the center arm.• The outer arm with a parallel movementarm is mounted on a horizontal axel at the end of the middle arm. At the other end of the parallelmovement arm there is a measuring stylus holder for the differentmeasuring tubes that hold the measuring adapters inaccordance with the data sheets.
